    Why Japanese Language?
The Japanese language is spoken by the approximately 127 million inhabitants of Japan, and by the Japanese living in Hawaii and on the North and South American main lands. It is also spoken as a second language by the Chinese and the Korean people who lived under Japanese occupation earlier this century.

The language has also got significant dominance in the U.S. Unlike in India, students in the U.S.A has the choice to select Japanese as one of their subject from earlier school days to facilitate the continuation of Japanese language at University level. Japanese language is still not known to most of the Indians in spite of the fact that they are continuously proving their talents worldwide. It is until lately that the Indian and the Japanese government has laid the five-year plan that will extend support to Japanese-language education at the secondary level in India, which the Government of India has initiated in line with the "Eight-fold Initiative for Strengthening Japan-India Global Partnership" decided by the Prime Ministers of both countries on the occasion of the visit of Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, the former Prime Minister of Japan, to India. This is a good indication being shown by the leaders of two great nations, a great milestone being reached and the future of Japanese Language looks even brighter.
